The first seal pups of 2025 have arrived on the Farne Islands!

Around 3,000 pups are expected to be born this winter. Thanks to your support, our rangers are able to monitor their numbers to help us understand and protect this important population.

This Saturday we braved the weather and were out surveying for Harvest Mouse Nests! 12 keen searches turned up to look for the nests at Sun Rising burial ground in Tysoe. Lots of nice long grass but sadly no nests were found this time. #survey #nests #harvestmouse @mammalsociety.bsky.social

A recent harvest mouse survey at Warwick Uni campus was a great success with 14 people coming along to search for nests. 9 were found & a partial nest also discovered. This is great news for our 1st survey at this location😀🐀 #survey #nests #harvest @mammalsociety.bsky.social @warwickuni.bsky.social
