Today during the NSDA Nationals Humorous Interp finals, an unauthorized person with a bag came onstage. A mic'd up competitor shouted for people to run. Thousands of people, mostly teens, ran for our lives.
Was there deadly danger? I don't know. I'd rather overreact than underreact.

Parent angst. My baby (who was born 2 weeks after my previous "baby" graduated) is graduating in 30 days. Last night started the series of ceremonies and "lasts". I teach at her school. It's going to be weird not having her there. (Pics because she's awesome. )

Right as I left school on Wednesday, I FINALLY got the staff list I have waited 2 months for. Now I can do all those overdue yearbook pages. Holiday weekend, NBD.

One of my naughtiest naughty boys from last year has been having regrets as he's been taking English 9 again this year. He's come to see me daily for help and is passing now. Maybe even a B!
