Very glad to hear this - at our emergency daytime warming center at St. Marks downtown, we saw 80-90 individuals each day seeking refuge from the dangerous cold. But. We also need a steady daytime drop-in center/shelter in our city too - not just for the coldest days, but every day.
As bitterly cold temperatures continue throughout the region, Charleston leaders on Tuesday approved setting aside additional funding for the operation of overnight warming centers for people without shelter or adequate heat, reports @lorikerseywv.bsky.social.

I've been to Columbus many times and this breaks my heart.
Sadly, after January 20th it’s a safe bet that the marches will continue and the condemnations will cease. It’s on all of us to stand up against antisemitism and all forms of hate.
