My family growing up was poor as shit. Like can deposits made up a non-insignificant chunk of our food money. So we never really had any particular holiday meal traditions. Just made the nicest thing we could afford.

After five years living in the middle-east, I did not expect to spend several hours scouring the internet for instructions on how to enter a Mosque. It's something I have done at least a hundred times. Just never with a wheelchair. And never while looking so Hasidic. Tomorrow will be fun.

The starvation army is also hostile to the poor and the unhoused people they claim to be helping. They always have been. Ministry first, everything else barely registers.
I know it's a tad early but I know those bitches with the buckets will be out soon. Don't gove them a penny. The volunteers may not know but the salvation army is no ally and actively combative and harmful to many queer minorities especially during the holiday season

The city of Gävle has decided to turn off the heated benches in Börsplan to try to drive away those who have been using them as refuge from the cold. They have offered no alternative. Shame on them. This decision and others like it will kill people.

While I know why, it amazes me that even now when you've got ICE indiscriminately attacking and kidnapping people, making neighbors and coworkers disappear off to concentration camps, even killing people; americans insist on nonviolence. Have you learned nothing?

My most woke opinion is that nonviolence only works when paired with the explicit threat of violence, and that when you let centrists and liberals tell you that political violence is always bad, they are fighting for the oppressors. Treat them accordingly.

My most woke opinion is that nonviolence only works when paired with the explicit threat of violence, and that when you let centrists and liberals tell you that political violence is always bad, they are fighting for the oppressors. Treat them accordingly.
I wish I could get rid of my cellphone entirely. I don't want this expensive hunk of plastic in my pocket all the time. I don't want to be reachable by anyone who wants to steal my attention at all times.
