Well, I've gotten to the point in Anno 117 that I can say it's not worth it. The story is bland and boring (as usual in Ubisoft games), the gameplay is exactly the same Anno they've made before, and the feature set is somehow even less than before.
There's so much they could've improved but didn't.

A bit disappointed that you can't have the same random map start in Anno 117 that used to be present in older Anno titles. That initial exploration phase was the one reason you would even trade with others, but now you just get an island assigned and it has the same resources always.
