Also this sight gag.

I can't explain it, but I've never laughed at anything as hard as I laughed at "Pappa Pia!"

The sequel to "Mamma Mia!"

TV Subreddit Guide:

procedural drama: “These two characters are hot! Why isn’t every ep about them kissing?!”

serialized drama: “Here are all the ways this show used to be better. Fire the showrunner!”

Comedy: “All these people are DEEPLY problematic and selfish. You’d hate them in real life.”

When you think of the people committing a genocide, you think about the soldiers, the politicians, the bomb-manufacturers, but a consulting group out of boston?? It's so corporate. We truly swim in the banality of evil.
Breaking news: Boston Consulting Group modelled the costs of 'relocating' Palestinians from Gaza and entered into a multimillion-dollar contract to help launch a new aid scheme for the shattered enclave https://on.ft.com/3TrfEpn

Caught another writer using AI & they were promptly let go.

I can not stress this enough: Any editor worth anything can AND WILL catch you if you're using AI to write. It's not slick, it's not subtle, & so many behavioral patterns beyond the writing are dead giveaways.

Do the work or get out.

And we all learned our lesson from this episode about the danger AI could pose to humanity, and we never again experimented with it, right?
May 15, 1964: Twilight Zone's "The Brain Center at Whipple's" airs. A company owner's zest for replacing workers with machines comes back to haunt him.

Written by Rod Serling. Stars Richard Deacon (like Serling, a Binghamton, NY native). The final TZ role for Robby the Robot. 🤖

Start small. Give yourself SMALL goals you can complete quickly, while inspiration and courage hold out.

There ARE people whose first writing work is a series of epic novels. But they are rare.

When you are starting, make a goal of a page, a paragraph, even a sentence.

Completion is triumph.
@gailsimone.bsky.social any advice for writers trying to get started? How do you go from the brain to the page?
