When I was first awarded extra test time, I remember thinking "wow, this seems a bit much, do I really need this?"
Then I had a four and a half hour math test where I did actually need the time and realised it was hell and I'd almost rather have failed.

And for things not limited such as extra test time... Just give it? No one wants to be sitting in a test room longer than they have to be there ain't a kid alive who's like "you know what I want? To sit here staring at my math test for an extra ten minutes"

Balancing "no person with a disability should be denied accommodations" with "it's important to discourage non-disabled people from pretending to be disabled to take advantage of these accommodations" is really difficult and I don't have a great answer for what anyone should do about it.

I think there is also a lot to be said of some TTRPGs having a ton of choices, but limited -real- choices. 3.5 D&D had a ton of feat options for example, there were only so many viable options for certain classes, and your build basically decided your feat choices. There were 'wrong' choices.

This is a huge part of why so many people think we're in the middle of a widespread "anti-woke backlash": Small movements opposed to social progress are collected into trend stories by conservative media. Far larger movements that want more diversity are ignored or cast as threats.
"Woke is ruining D&D". Meanwhile Dimension 20, one of the wokest real play shows around, just sold out Madison Square Garden and the Hollywood Bowl for live shows and brings armies of new players to RPGs.

TTRPGs are a great example of self-limiting one-hop "piracy" imo; a lot of people will gladly send their players a copy of the game so that the group doesn't have to buy multiple, and will gladly receive those type of shares, but refuse to *chain* those things. i only *share* copies that *i bought.*

They only really think "why should someone gets out of a crime because they had a good lawyer?", they don't realise for justice to function strong representation on both sides to fully interrogate what happened is necessary. Otherwise people would just get scammed into prison constantly.
