I know that when lawyers start arguing on behalf of clients, there is a lot of Jargon and Argot used. Can we rely on any reports in news media, given the quality of reporting by Journalists and the headlines attached to grab attention?

There is a new version of #Firestorm out, v7.2.2 replacing v7.1.3, an alternative to the official #SecondLife viewer. I installed it on Linux, no obvious problems yet. If you use it, you will know where their website is. They have the usual bad habit of defaulting to MSWindows instructions

Here in Britain we do have a Cave Rescue Organisation, made up of volunteers willing to go into dark holes and rescue the trapped from twisted and bewildering passages.
It has nothing to do with politics, but Google is easily confused.

I don't know if I should believe the gossip about #SecondLife but the core claim seems to be that a small group of users were shouting to get some computationally expensive features and wouldn't take "NO" for an answer. That always feels plausible.

Once, long ago, somebody I knew through the internet was writing furry porn stories, words you read.
I was using a different account-name. That furry name and description appeared as a character in some of the stories. Things happened because of ideas I had suggested. Can I be newly corrupted now?

When eBay tells you that something is out for delivery it seem to vanish. There is some small cargo truck somewhere in England, but there is no clue as to just when it will arrive. Not even an approximate block of time.

Don't believe every story about Porn sites in the news media released today. There's at least one obvious "satire". I can still believe a drop in traffic, but they would say that, wouldn't they.
