I mean this seriously when I say you should not move to Montreal unless you're willing to join the fight for rental dignity. Learn your rights and stop teaching landlords they can walk over the established laws for renters!!!

My cobbler is shutting down his business after 10 years in the building they're in and around 100 of their family being in the business. This shit sucks for real, the business of repair is being disfavoured for the on demand planned obsolescence of late stage capitalism. We should all be worried.

I feel like growing up with the news always on did something permanent to who I am. I constantly feel the need to look away but I also know that I'm the point of contact for many people in my life to make that information accessible. I feel honoured to be this person but oh my god its a lot
