also yes this is why hyperdive dicks on low level and not anything above it because its very easy to counter (you just shoot straight so you cant move gg)

any top level player who has tried this still plays with a "defensive" backbone so that the "hyperdivers" can just come back quickly and safely to shoot

you will never guess what that playstyle is (its called playing normally)

and you will notice when hyperdive gets bent over its because people just paint for their special as they are playing the game and you will lose!!

hyperdive is just playing splatoon without any fallback plan in which sure have fun but its not gonna get you anywhere

okay so the japan example you gave in your post im going to use that against you here. the way japan "play" is by doing a lot of important things in passing not actively doing it. if youre specifically pointing your gun to paint for your special then you are playing incorrectly

about hyperdive teams being low level banned, they are also around the div 4 range and nothing higher. i think it genuinely stops player improvement and also just doesnt work into better people. maybe the strategy could work if its a bit less extreme but at that point youre just playing splatoon

order to make one of the four enemies look at not front for like 2 seconds. it doesnt sound appealing when im trading my life for it. hyperdive is SOOO counterable which is why it destroys low level but as soon as you fight people with a brain cell they just win, to mirror your point

if you want something more normal swap mini decav for dualie sword, but the first one is genuinely so fine since fizzy mist and rapid force a lot of fights to where you dont really need much for retake

maybe, i just dont think people have figured out elite ball knowledge on wntr yet like its going to go crazy as soon as people figure out ntri is broken with it, yes your opening cooler is slow but you just slot stally weapons on with it (mini, decav) and now you have super bubble spam its so scary
