You could use the Spring Boot parent, which contains dependecy management for all the Spring projects.

What'd be the benefit of that?

Spring Framework is much older than Spring Boot, should we just skip Boot 4, 5, 6 and jump to Spring Boot 7 directly?

This release contains github.com/spring-proje..., which fixes Testcontainers with modern Docker daemons.

As discussed in #48050, Docker 29.0.0 introduced a breaking change that cause the Buildpacks integration in Spring Boot to fail. That has been fixed. There is also a problem with the Testcontainers...
