I did the math: what Morgan Stanley is saying is in their experience a developer can read and interpret about 250 lines of COBOL code in a single day, on average (one developer hour equates to 32 lines of code).
I have trouble buying this claim: because it feels *ridiculously* slow.

Most banks keep sending out warning emails about impersonation and scams.
Any app can implement this capability with a little coding + backend work (assuming their BE sensible enough): and yet Monzo is the first one I’ve heard do it.
