This thing flies. Got wifi and sound working, installed XFCE and Firefox and some networking utilities for SMB and whatnot. Core2Duo with 4GB RAM and my only real complaint with the usability is the screen is pretty low quality. However, it is blue.

love how every time I go to offload shit from my macbook my fucking NAS decides to pull some super fun shenanigans, leaving me in a position where i have to play fucking linux server admin for 6 hours before I can even begin getting work done.

2 car solution. It's wild how good the i3 drives, less wild when you realize it weighs the same as the E30. No modern EV drives like the i3 does and I'm horrified of eventually buying a Rivian R3 to replace it and being sorely disappointed.

The Audi by far aged the best out of the four door W12 triplets. The Bentley aged like milk. The c pillar on the phaeton looks super stodgy, Audi put a fourth window in the C pillar that looks a billion times better.

Absolutely dogshit waste of an entire day so I can play GTA Online at 40fps when I got a solid 60fps before on low settings.
Sunk cost fallacy, blah blah, I've had this account since the game came out and have thousands of hours into it and want to play with online with my gf.

Had to shrink partitions and set up a Windows 10 dual boot on my Steam Deck so I could run GTA Online and play with my girlfriend, which runs worse on Windows than it did on Linux, and which runs worse on Windows than it used to before the anti-cheat implementation that also broke Linux compat.

I have an OG Infinity Basslink in my i3 and it doesn't have the mounting legs, but I didn't want to go outside and measure the dimensions of mine. Fortunately one person is selling a single leg on eBay and has a tape measure in the picture. I can work with this.

The cyberdeck "build" has progressed to swapping keycaps and I got the software all figured out on the OrangePi 3B, so now it's time to get to soldering and put all the pieces inside the shell.
