this one involved a lot of color changes and I only realized I should weave the ends in as I went a little before I hit the halfway point 😅 so it’s not great, but it could’ve been a lot worse!

don’t mind me butting in mid-thread but I think I fall into that bucket 😅 I like to build base sets and have never sold a card. I only got into baseball cards in 2018 so I got a year or two of pure enjoyment before everything started going to hell

I can’t wait to finish it and share better pics 🧡 back and left panels are done, the right panel and stitching it all together is all I have left. Was hoping to have it done by the end of November but that really snuck up on me 😅

Gotcha gotcha! I wish there was an aggregator or something that would let you search for independent therapists that offer no-insurance basic fees like that, finding a therapist that you vibe with is already a huge task without considering affordability as well

I think you have a good point! I didn’t even think of asking my therapist/billing person what the no-insurance rate would be, I always assume it’ll be higher bc insurance companies get all the discounts as large clients vs what individual people would get charged

But at least you’re transparent with pricing! The billing person told me with insurance it would only be $40/session, then my insurance charged me $205 each (the catch was I had to *hit my deductible first* for it to be $40). Wiped out my HSA for the whole year by February

I think it depends on the frequency of sessions. My therapist wouldn’t allow me to do less than 2/month. I could probably swing that cost once a month but would have trouble with anything more. But I know therapy unfortunately works better with consistency 😅

personally my insurance through work stopped covering therapy this year so I couldn’t afford it and had to stop. I think we’re collectively more Not Okay than ever and all the people developing relationships with LLMs instead of going to real therapy are not good signs

RIGHT. They’re often going 100+ and have PIT people into yards/homes and even other vehicles on the road. And then they all hop out and act tough pointing guns in the face of the people they just nearly killed!! Those troopers should have their keys taken away for good, at minimum

I watch a lot of dashcam compilations and the Arkansas State Police submit new videos almost daily. And they destroy at least 2 cars from their stupid PIT maneuvers every time! Abhorrent
