One of the hypotheticals in Trump's arguments for immunity was that he could send Seal Team 6 to kill someone and be immune from prosecution.

I worry more about the data than anything, honestly. They almost certainly aren’t managing it properly. It’s only a matter of time before it’s all compromised.

The surveillance technology can - and should - be mitigated by our next Dem POTUS

I think he almost certainly will. After the midterms he’s going to be handing out pardons like Ronny Jackson hands out opioids.

I think we’ll see charges (pending Trump pardons, obviously), but I don’t think it’s going to be during this administration.

That being said, I do thing Hegseth and Patel are wearing out their welcome with Trump and we’ll likely see some junk drawer (Cabinet) rearrangement soon.

It looks like it’s going to be way closer than it should be. The GOP is still projected to win, but with the way Democrats have outperformed in special elections, I wouldn’t be *shocked* to see an upset - but I certainly wouldn’t bet on one.

I’m skeptical on that one. I would love to see it, but it’s going to depend not only on how fast people retire, but how quickly the special elections are scheduled (the rules for that vary by state and are sometimes up to the Governors).

I’ve wondered the same thing, honestly. It can’t help twitter’s standing with investors or advertisers, it reveals a whole bunch of propaganda accounts that are just there to take advantage of ad sharing and meddle in our affairs, etc.

I don’t see ANY benefit for Musk here. I like the change though

I’ve long advocated for the press corps to stand in solidarity and do two things:

1. Follow ups should be directly at him being an asshole and defending their coworkers

2. They should absolutely ignore him and refuse to give him any press other than the fact that he’s an asshole

I didn’t see that. That’s incredible.

If a bunch of major retailers joined together to do the same, we could see real, and immediate action on the tariffs.

PSA: Andrew Solender pays Axios' bills by ragebaiting all of you.

And it works every fucking time, too.
For some reason Democratic leaders seem to prefer telling voters what they won’t be able to do, rather than what they’d like to do.

If Hegseth ordered a war crime and lied about it, shouldn’t Ds try for impeachment? Put Rs on the spot. They might get a few defections.

Release the second strike video.
The American people deserve to know whether a war crime was committed in their name.

While more facts will come to light, it's long been clear that Pete Hegseth is unworthy of the public's trust. He is an embarrassment to our troops and a threat to our security.

He needs to go.

Right now, though, Washington’s trying to take it all away. And it’s one of the reasons that Tillis stood up on the floor of the Senate and said, “How can I vote for this?”

Donald Trump is a convicted criminal.

The Trump administration is a criminal organization.

Rebuilding American democracy will require massive efforts to expunge his work. Removing his nominees, erasing his executive legacy and rescinding his pardons will be just the beginning
Trump’s inevitable exit "will be a day to celebrate, even while we acknowledge how much work lies ahead—not only to begin to repair the destruction and hold the criminals accountable, but also to reimagine how we can build a progressive future." www.americaamerica.news/p/hello-911-...
