I gotta know if there's any other instance of something similar to memorizing the elevator code from the very beginning to let you use the elevator every time after that, but for any of the other planets...

if someone is rude to me on purpose that's fun because it's an excuse to just ignore everything they say to me forever. But when someone well meaning bungles it, and especially when they make a big deal of groveling about it afterwards, that just makes me kinda sad

it's like, they really had no idea what they were doing 😔 I've followed social scripts off a cliff before in other situations so I get it, foot in mouth etc. We all sort of froze for a millisecond and silently agreed to move on lol
