In #G3journal, @4everbiochemist.bsky.social and colleagues assessed the role of essential histone chaperone Spn1 in maintaining #yeast chromatin structure. They found that Spn1 preserves nucleosomal, subnucleosomal, and non-nucleosomal protections across the genome.
