This is reminiscent of Putin amassing troops on Ukraine's border in 2022. Everyone kept saying he'd never actually invade. But you don't amass that many troops unless you intend to use them.

It's just sad that the burden of defending the constitution is falling on the shoulders of individual soldiers rather than being handled responsibly & maturely by a serious, qualified, & trustworthy chain of command.
