I did see one of the executions. I really wish I hadn’t. It was decapitation by chainsaw. So personally I find the hand wringing about drug boats getting blown up to be a bit much. Have you people ever met evil people you didn’t like?

I think the NYT article described a video I went to blog del narco to go look at, and it was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. The video was of two guys who had gotten caught and tortured by a rival cartel, and they were about to be executed. I couldn’t watch the whole video.

There’s a time and a place for chat like that and it’s never in public with someone you aren’t already intimate with, and even then, you still need to be respectful always
