Latina women who work full time, year round, and part time earn only 54 cents for every $1 earned by a white male. Take a stand against pay discrimination & occupational segregation! We need #LatinaEqualPay for #Trabajadoras everywhere.

All communities of color are affected when people are kidnapped and detained. No one is truly free until everyone is free from a carceral system that profits from the oppression of people.

August 28 is Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (NHPI) Women’s Equal Pay Day.

For every dollar earned by white, non-Hispanic men working full time, year-round in 2023, NHPI women, working full time, year-round only were paid 65 cents. #NHPIWomensEqualPayDay
Graphic stating 'NHPI Equal Pay Day' over a map, highlighting the significance of equal pay awareness for Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander communities. Graphic poster stating "NHPI women working full time earn 65¢ for every $1 a white man makes." Background is a map with location names like Pahala and Honokaa visible. Graphic with bold text urging the Department of Labor and other federal agencies to collect, analyze, and share public, disaggregated information about the NHPI community, set against a blurred map background.

It's #NHPIWomensEqualPayDay — a day that marks how far into the following year Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander women must work to make the same wage white men make in a single year. Women deserve #equalpayforequalwork!

Low-income families, predominantly families of color, will feel the squeeze the most both in their own budgets and cuts to school budgets. Whttps://19thnews.org/2025/08/school-supply-debate-teachers-parents-tariffs-trump/
Moms and teachers are mad about school supplies again
This year, though, it's political as tariffs drive prices up and the Trump administration makes historic cuts to public education funding.

Employers know who suffers most from return-to-office mandates and the removal of flexibility. Paired with astronomical child care costs, working women are leaving the workforce in high numbers and reversing gains made during the pandemic.

It doesn't matter if they hit today, tomorrow, or next month; working women of color cannot afford the estimated average of $2,400 increase in expenses. We're already stretched thin with high rent, medical costs, and child care.

July 10th marks #BlackWomensEqualPayDay, a reminder that this country still runs on a system built on theft, and we’re the ones being robbed. Paid only 66 cents for every dollar a white man earns, Black women’s labor continues to be exploited, undervalued and dismissed. bit.ly/4kxMX5k

📊 In 1967, Black women were paid 43 cents for every dollar white non-Hispanic men were paid.

📊 In 2023, they were paid 66 cents.

That’s 56 years and only a 23-cent gain.

Black women deserve more than slow progress. They deserve equal pay. #BlackWomensEqualPayDay

Last night, the House passed a bill that slashes healthcare, SNAP, and other critical services to pay for tax breaks for billionaires. This fight isn't over. The bill still needs to pass the Senate and we can still make our voices heard.

Here's what's in the GOP megabill that's just passed the House
At the center of the sweeping bill is trillions in tax cuts, which Republicans aim to partially offset through changes to safety net programs like Medicaid and SNAP.
