So age determination is not a security risk ? It is and it will be more for future. The latest Discord incident might be an eye opener for some.

@db0 If people want to contribute to other projects, that’s great. But forcing them to work on projects they don’t want to be involved in won’t work. It’s better if they actually produce something and release it as open source than keep it in a drawer.

When I see policymakers complain about ‘reinventing the wheel in open source,’ they forget it’s actually a strength. It prevents concentration and monopolies. Diversity is key.

AI scrapers are driving me nuts, especially when they’re scraping my personal @forgejo server without any care. I shut it down (as the load is above 50) now until I found something efficient to limit the scrapping.
