I didn't know it, but one year ago today would be the last time I'd sleep in the home I lived in for over a decade with the person I thought I'd spend my whole life with. So, a melancholy toast to what was and another to a hopeful future on my own terms.

Finally caught the newest Aquamam movie. Honestly, if they had just leaned in even harder into the 30s and 40s serial matinee sensibilities, it would have worked so much better.
Also, watch it with Queen's Flash Gordan soundtrack and it kinda rules.
