This year, I'm going to be an extra sassy bitch about your birthday, just to even things out.

You would be horrified by how common this practice is where I live (northern Canada, which I’m told makes us very similar culturally to Minnesota).

LOL. So far I’ve managed to control myself, but it’s still early.

If you’ve never read it, I would highly recommend the book. It is both infinitely better and almost entirely unrelated to the movie beyond “there are zombies”.

Saw a meme a while back that said “If you didn’t love us when we were 9-8 last year you don’t get to love us when we’re 9-8 again this year” and nothing has ever summed up the state of that franchise better.

I love my children dearly, and I'm also staring down the upcoming 14-straight-days that they'll be home over Christmas with the same inescapable dread of a military deployment. Sue me.

Be the change you want to see in the world.

That’s the whole problem, right? Even with all this, I know Poilievre would absolutely be worse for the country. But if you keep voting for centrist garbage because it’s better than the alternative, you just keep shifting that Overton window right.

Oh, I agree that they are a problem for her. What I don’t understand is why they’re a problem for Carney or why he’d be in incentivized to do anything to placate them.

Why does Carney need to spend even one second of thought on AB separatists arguments? They make up like 10% of the population here. They pose zero threat to Canadian unity.

Considering buying my MIL a meat thermometer for Christmas so she can finally stop torturing those poor, dead birds.

Guess who did exactly that? 😁😁

Everyone should be forced to watch The Social Network once a year just so they're constantly reminded that Zuckerburg is an absolute shitbag of a human.

This made me laugh so hard I scared my dog.

I *wish* I could hit their heights. Something to aspire to.

I once got to perform it at karaoke with a friend of mine. It was entirely too much fun.

I believe the argument is “We paid a lot of money to add AI features into our product and we would like to pass those costs onto you so pretty please can you buy it already?”

It's definitely offbeat and took me awhile to fully get into it, but by the end of season 1 I was really digging it. And he gets some abuse, but mostly by circumstance, not the other characters.

This feels like a Murderbot post.
