Another obvious problem with that line of argument, for anyone with a long enough memory, is that many of the people opposed to this resolution were no less opposed to the resolution more than a decade ago to recognize a Palestinian right to education, at a point well before Trump was a thing.

I was just telling Neil this morning he has to read it. Eager to discuss. I also think there’s a pretty straight line between Ackerman’s critique and some similar problems in the earlier work on the transition debates.
