Hey I'm right there with ya. Small crowd writers who like fantasy big women in diapers rise up.

Sorry for the long rant post, its been odd lately considering where I want writing to go and how I want to do things.

I'd love to hear what any of you think about this as well. Feedback and communication from community often help me parse though my thoughts.

If I wanted to do a sequel I'd have to fix it a little, just for my own sanity. The implications of that feel weird, like I'm wrong for fixing my past work.

I think I'm going to do it anyway though, just to play with old stories and reinvigerate a sweeter, cuter side to my work.

There's not much room for an after story when the diaper eldritch horror gets you in my world of darkness you know? But Lynnette and her Mom felt like an option.

Then I had to think about it practically. The original story is from 2019, its formatted poorly and it's semi roughly written.

It seemed fun to return to some characters and play with the idea they'd grown and changed but we're still dealing with regressed life or diapered existence. But in thinking about it I didn't have many stories that worked. I know I mostly do smut and bad end bdsm focused stuff at that.

Do I tarnish my past work by remaking it? Am I lazy for taking something past me did and refining it with new skills?

I don't think so but imposter syndrome me doesn't shut up about it.

I got on this idea because I was thinking I really wanted to do an 'after story' kind of thing.

It feels strange though, looking back at old work like that and considering reworking or remaking it in some way. For most authors, you write a book, dump it out and its done with. For me I have the opportunity to just change my post to a new version if I want. I'm not gonna do that but I could.

The more I think on it though the more I consider how I'd like to return to it with all the knowledge I have now, to pick through those pages and remake it with better descriptors and stronger flow, actual book dialog formating. Its also pure fluff, something I dont often do and very cute.

It clocks in at 22,000 words...

At the time I didn't know or care about formatting either so those "paragraphs" are LONG. there's other problems too, language thats a little juvenile, the character is 18 and a half that kind of thing, knowing better now I'd change it so it's smoother.
