The Name of the Wind has this lovely bit on understanding things that you can’t explain. These page don’t talk explicitly about action, but they come shortly after Kvothe has unknowingly called the name of the wind, so I still think it’s a good illustration.

For starters, the main dashboard looks like this. (I didn’t have the presence of mind to take pics/video while I was in possession of the car, but I was able to find pictures for most of UI elements anyway.)
