.... It's a brilliant photo from almost a century ago: whatever your starting point, your eyes are taken on a journey to his face, and then sent off on a voyage over the sea.

.... My "Prospect Of Brighouse" managed to capture a slice of history, however: all those mill chimneys, St James Church in its glory, and not a supermarket in sight.
