The care inspectorates non-answer. Not only did they not answer a single point we raised they couldn't even get the subject of the letter correct.

We will be taking this matter up with our MSPs in due course.
A letter from the Care Inspectorate to Aberdeen Trans Action. Letter reads Dear Heather Herbert, Thank you for your letter of 11 May regarding our Guidance on the inclusion of transgender including non-binary young people. We have considered the Supreme Court decision in respect of gender recognition and have updated our guidance accordingly. We have also taken into account interim guidance published by the EHRC on the practical implications of the Supreme Court judgment. We look forward to their full guidance in due course and will further take account of the final position and advice of the EHRC when this is produced. We continue to expect all people who experience care to have their needs met and their rights respected.

We took part in an anti-fascist counter demo in Aberdeen yesterday. Despite being surrounded by the fash, the good people of Aberdeen stood firm and proud! Refugees are always welcome in the UK 💖

Our Statement regarding Grampian Prides unwillingness to drop oil companies as sponsors.
Aberdeen Trans Action Statement On Grampian Pride Aberdeen Trans Action is committed to advancing the rights, safety, and dignity of trans people in the North East of Scotland. We believe Pride should be a space for radical inclusion, protest, and community- - not corporate pinkwashing. While we recognise the importance of Grampian Pride as a space for LGBTQIA+ visibility and celebration, we cannot support the event in its current form due to its sponsorship by multinational oil corporations such as BP and Shell. These companies have long histories of environmental destruction, human rights violations, and contributions to climate change-issues that disproportionately affect marginalised communities, including trans people, both locally and globally. By aligning with such sponsors, Grampian Pride undermines the values of justice, equity, and solidarity that should be at the heart of the LGBTQIA+ movement.
