The story take place in the same universe as Rococo Feathersworth and Betaman, but about 20-30 years in the future from the latter. I haven't decided if Masayoshi is Rococo's daughter or grand daughter yet, but leaning towards latter, I kind of wanted her to be one of Sonso's childhood friends

Mr. Sonso, or mister so-n-so originally was a temporary name for the Betaman alternative character used for this project, I am still thinking about how to distinguish them, but in general, Sonso is someone who shows more initiative and actually held advanced degrees, but still too timid

It was around the time Detroit: became human came out. I didn't play the game but from what I seen of it and its discussions, I felt that it's depiction of robotic is "too human". There is rarely any depiction that actually capture just how alien mechanical sentience can be from biological ones.

last time I had an interesting idea was a project called "tactical wife: simulator", in which I drawn about 40 pages, it was about some guy took out a mortgage to buy a robot girlfriend (so he can lose his virginity) that is secretly a military android. I am thinking about story timing it here

I avoid telling certain stories with betaman because how closely this character is associated with me, and it might come across as me spiraling, it caused concern in the past. The paradox is that i only draw something like that because i felt strong enough and didnt need to wallow in my delusions
