I haven't seen anyone "dunking" on him (maybe there are) but what I have seen is people pointing out that it's already extremely difficult for Canadian academics to get positions and it's frustrating to think that as Cdn institutions start snapping up fleeing US academics, it will become even harder

People are understandably focused on the CPC's sharp decline in popularity but there's an equally interesting story in the apparent total collapse of the NDP. It is WILD that there doesn't seem to be any push from the party to turf Singh, who is pretty obviously unable to meet this moment.

THIS ISN'T FUCKING TRUE. Nearly SEVENTY PERCENT of people in Saskatchewan live in urban areas. That's a lower percentage than most provinces (except Manitoba, which does not get this same treatment, despite having very similar demographics as SK) but it's still an overwhelming majority!
