Stacey joined ACCESS’ Person With Lived Experience (PWLE) Network to advocate for meaningful change in pediatric cancer research and care. She firmly believes that Canada must do better. It is unacceptable that only 4–8% of cancer research funding is allocated to pediatric cancer.

Canada can lead globally in pediatric cancer care, if the federal government renews funding.
Investment means more trials, better cures and healthier survivors. Without it, we lose momentum, talent and progress.

45,000+ Canadians are childhood cancer survivors.
Too many face lifelong health challenges that limit independence, careers + quality of life.
Survivorship should mean more than survival and with renewal of federal funding it can.
