The Data Informatics and Statistics Core team at ACCORDS consists of 15 data analysts and four faculty biostatisticians who contribute to over 100 research projects and 40 grant applications annually.

Happy Halloween! We celebrate with an annual decorating contest. Congrats to this year's winner, the Data Informatics & Statistics Core's Cave of Statistical Wonders! Other entries include Curse of the Missing Nutrients, Wicked, a pumpkin patch, plague doctors, and Twilight. #ACCORDSCommunity
The "Cave of Statistical Wonders" explored the dark depths of quantitative statistics, with "Danger" and "No Trespassing" signs near statistics textbooks and a comic of "The Island of Statistical Treasures." Wicked-themed decorations included both Elphaba and Glinda, the Yellow Brick Road, the Emerald City (complete with poppy flowers and flying monkeys), and a twister flying over a familiar looking house. "The Curse of Missing Nutrients" warns of the danger of a "sugar trap" (a plate of cookies), with hovering ghosts and a graveyard of skeletons who didn't get all the necessary nutrients. Two plague doctors, each surrounded by germs, with one declaring "The pestilence is upon you!" and the other asking "Hast thou tried leeches?"
