the thing about the wolf man (1941) is that having bela lugosi play a werewolf named bela that everybody refers to by name a lot is that it feels like it is trying to convince me that bela lugosi was a werewolf in real life. but that runs counter to the research conducted by bauhaus

that last scene in the swamp was colored while listening to thomas mann's doktor faustus (different) so that one's also a faust to me but mostly what sticks out to me is that both that scene and that book took a million years to get through
