Meanwhile our county mayor (former state rep who made national headlines for saying we needed a "National Association for the Advancement of White People") shared this on her public, personal page...

Yeah you don't need $20 million to understand what happened in 2016 and 2024.

Urban voter turnout needs work. If we lose the special election in TN-7 it will be because urban voters in Nashville didn't show up.

Andy Ogles is in Congress in my district because Nashville turnout in 2024 was abysmal.

The only meaningful question is how much taxpayer money is the DOJ going to waste on James Comey? The odds of him actually being convicted are approximately zero.

The case is factually weak, procedurally shaky, and both vindictively and incompetently prosecuted.

It's an embarrassment.

1. As a county party chair in one of the exurban/rural counties of Tennessee, I welcome them. I believe DCCC will be very active in our area next year.

2. I just hope they don't throw a lot of money at consultants like the DNC's $20 million young men study (that revealed what we already knew).

Could have spun it as "we didn't re-open the government to debate ideology, we want to help actual people."

The caucus should have just walked out over the resolution. Don't vote for it or against. Just refuse to participate.

I know some of our centrist pals feel the need to show off for Fox News by voting for performative nonsense, even though no actual voters care about this.

Exactly.

Also falling for a conman doesn't necessarily mean you are stupid, it means you are human.

I suspect some of Trump's victims thought they would be exempt, that they were *special.*

Michael Cohen for example seems to be in this category.

I imagine many members of Congress are big enough narcissists to believe they are indispensable.
