The Muse website can be on the free Netlify plan as long as it stays under 100Gb of bandwidth. Two months ago it was at 166Gb/mo, after a first round of optimization it came down to 102Gb/mo. Another optimization a few days ago i brought it under 1Gb/day, so less than 30Gb/mo (!) 😁

For the past many years, Muse has used Fathom for web analytics, and they’ve done a fantastic job. I highly recommend Fathom if you’re looking for …

Just finished migrating my site adamwulf.me from WordPress to hugo on Netlify. I used wordpress.org/plugins/simp... to export from WP to raw html, then asked Claude to turn that export into a hugo site. The bones were working in 5 minutes, took a few hours of tweaking to get exactly how I wanted. 😎

Every day, the horrors in Gaza reach new, unimaginable depths.

And as starvation spreads, Netanyahu and Trump remain complicit in a scheme to use US taxpayer dollars to replace humanitarian aid orgs with mercenaries — leading to more death and devastation.

This cannot continue.
Mass starvation stalks Gaza as deaths from hunger rise
Aid agencies warned for months that Israel’s harsh limits on food aid would bring acute malnutrition and widespread suffering to Gaza’s 2.1 million people.

JD Vance’s Dangerous View of American Nationhood
The power of the American ideal comes not from Americans being a “particular people” with a common heritage—an ethnically-rooted nation like others—but from its being different.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

I'm loving Claude Code - I spend my time thinking about the structure of the code, the architecture, the edge cases, and then a robot types it all up for me. Once I see it typed up, i realize that i need to think through a bit more, and can iterate so much faster than when I type.

Richard is a metastatic cancer patient whose life could be saved by a custom cell therapy — one that is currently sitting unused in a freezer because of Trump's NIH cuts.

Yet another example of the real impacts of the Trump Admin's attacks on science and our federal workforce.
His custom cancer therapy is in an NIH freezer. He may not get it in time.
The purge of probationary federal workers included skilled lab personnel who would have finalized a customized cell immunotherapy for cancer patients.
