Kwanzaa is a symbol of Resilience as Black people have been stripped of many things, but Kwanzaa was something created for Black people to celebrate their History and culture in a positive light.

I’m a junior studying psychology on a pre-med track! I’ve been a member of the ADAPT RA team since fall of 2023!
My research interests lie in examining disparities in physical & mental health outcomes among minority populations, as well as factors contributing to these disparities.

Haylee is studying Medical Anthropology and Environmental Studies. She joined ADAPT in Winter 2024 and is interested in prevention science & cultural psych. Haylee plans on attaining a Masters of Public Health to pursue a career in epidemiology after graduating.
