Hey, I was slightly involved in a thing. Ys vs. remains the anomaly that keeps on giving. Never thought we'd see the day where this game gets the royal treatment, but I'm all for it. Congrats to all involved, and I hope this is a success for refint/ so they can give more games this much love.

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter – Unsophisticated Fight
Once-in-a-lifetime dream remake (dreamake!) Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter should have been my perfect video game. It wasn't. Here I hope to process that disappointment and let it go. I've gone on record ad nauseam that The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky was the video game that inspired me to tread my career path. Or maybe it's more accurate to call it the final push over a threshold I'd been approaching all my life.

Absolutely devastated by this news. SpaceDrake was no doubt a huge influence in drumming up interest for Japanese indie games localized into English and pushing for them on digital distribution storefronts like steam. Huge loss. Might be time for another playthrough of Recettear in his honour.

Found out I had appendicitis yesterday and went straight into surgery. Got a few holes in me, but I'm already discharged from the hospital and on the road to recovery

Been playing some Granblue Re:Link and it's a good time. I played a little bit of the gacha years ago, but don't have much attachment to the world. Perhaps as a result, the story doesn't do a ton for me. Really, the gameplay, lite exploration, and production value is just great
