To their credit, the owner of the other dog was horrified and incredibly apologetic, and immediately sent me his vaccination docs. I definitely prefer to be attacked by a dog who's up to date with his rabies booster shots.

My beautiful, gentle Tilda was attacked by an unleashed dog while we were out walking in the woods, completely out of nowhere. It was savage and terrifying; she was utterly stunned and trembling in shock. Seeing my sunny, confident pup frightened and bleeding is just unbearable. My poor friend!

My beloved hound would vacuum these up like kibble if she had her way. We use them to apologize after she's subjected to the evils of bathtime, and I'm not saying she ::forgives:: us, exactly, but they do help us to move forward emotionally.

It really is revenge porn, just without pictures.
And it's one thing to say something despicable in the heat of the moment when you're furious. But it's genuine sicko behaviour to write triumphantly about this shit and still believe you're the good guy in the situation.

I think it's a Garuda! Super powerful good-luck guardian who will protect you from serpents. They're hideous little gargoyles who will 100% fuck up your enemies. My family lived in Indonesia and adopted this cute little monster, and none of us have ever been bitten by snakes. Scientific proof.

The pics/video are really crummy quality, but if you increase the contrast a little, it becomes pretty clear that it ain't the Jolly Roger.

It's from last year, so not new-new, but I've been cooking a lot from Emiko Davies' Gohan this summer. Right now I just want simplicity and zero lectures, and it's perfect. It's friendly and low-key, and Davies clearly knows how to write recipes that actually work -- that's honestly rare!

There's no info as to a timeline on that yet, so it’s worth keeping an eye on. But I doubt Comer wants to be the guy left without a chair in this debacle. We'll see, I guess.

I think a lot about C.S. Lewis's On Living in an Atomic Age. He points out that we're all doomed, all of us, and we have been since the moment of our birth. The point is what to do with the life we DO have, even though human civillisation as a whole has always been marked for extinction.
