Yesterday I got the absolute ROML, this was -50 on my best pace + nearly a minute ahead of the theory 4:47 comparison on top of good standee RNG. I’m not surprised that I choked it to the worst level in the game and it’ll be a while before I match this pace again, but this only gives me more hope 🙏🙏

We ran it back yesterday and got top 3! 8-A costed WR from losing propeller and having to get it back but the rest of the run was very good. 23:4x imminent =)

so this will probably be the next 2D mario i pick up, new soup ds. i’ve paid a lot of attention to 100% which to me looks like such an awesome speedrun
i’ll be starting off on wii u vc and if i truly get invested, i’ll consider buying a ds with a capture board. very excited for what’s coming =)

I found out that Cads, one of the top NSMBW runners lives near me, so today we did our first meetup and Any% Multiplayer attempts! We plan on beating the WR (23:53) and improving it to a 23:4x.
I've been drifting away from 100% as I have time for Wonder again so this is a great side project for us!

I really want to go through with my “learn every mainline 2D Mario” idea, so here are some goals that I’ve set for now. Super ambitious ideas are possible once you put enough work into it is what I’m thinking =)
