I believe on 1.21 you can use the "disable portal activation" config to stop the water bucket from working, which I think should still let any custom activators work. On 1.20 Im not sure if this works the same way so let me know if it doesn't

This update is only for 1.21.1, which is a version where Forge has little to no presence really as Neoforge has functionally replaced it both for developers and players. We offer forge releases for versions where that loader is still widely used like 1.19 and 1.20

We have a lot of exciting stuff we can't talk about just yet lined up for the next year or so on top of Aether II, including additional add-on mods for Aether 1, the Origin Realms Aether release, and more! So stay tuned across 2025 for a LOT more Aether news 😄
