The Verdant Woods are a new forest biome for Aether II, we've really focused on enhancing the level of density and visual variety in our forests.

The Verdant Woods contrast well against the Shrouded Forest, being a more peaceful and scenic environment!

Aether II's hugely expanded dimension height means higher peaks but also far deeper caverns
The Undercloud is a dangerous area below the cloud sea where precious resources and perilous dangers are highly abundant
Here's a quick look at the terrain generation for the area

The Shrouded Forest is a unique woodland biome that is so dense that Blighted mobs like the Cockatrice can roam freely during the day, similar to inside caves due to the forest's dense canopy, but luckily that same canopy has been transformed into a mossy safe haven for passive creatures and players

We've added a wide selection of flowers and plants! You can collect and plant flowers you find in your adventures, even in flower pots!

Different flowers are more common in each biome, so you should explore far and wide if you want a varied garden!

These are a rare set of biomes that have been polluted with Ambrosium to a dangerous degree. These irradiated biomes aren't safe for animal life, but in their place new plant based mobs will roam the islands
You can find deposits of irradiated wreckage that can be refined into randomised loot items

This new acidic fluid gives off highly flammable toxic fumes, and can damage the player and their equipment if they dive in.

The acid can purify Irradiated Items to reveal the loot inside, though there may be a safer and more reliable way to process these items by collecting it for new utilities
