I think the acting has stayed the same, but the actors have aged so far beyond their characters. They are still being written the same as they did when they were 12-13, but it is just so bad when they are in their mid-late 20s.

Jackie Brown is by far my favorite of his works, but it's also based on an insanely entertaining book that I've read far more times than I've seen the movie.

I was part of an 80's cover band for a bit. We all wanted to play some light poppy stuff so it would be easy to do live, then our singer says he wants to do a Peter Gabriel set. Everyone else is having fun and I'm on the side of the stage putting in some goddamned work.

I took my daughter to a kpop cinematic show like this a few years ago. It was packed with kids, so they were all singing along and dancing in their seats. That was just a broadcast of a live concert and nothing else so I imagine this would be a little more reserved.
