Huh I guess I never considered that it could work like an easier and more accessible XIVSnapper. That's going to be interesting if/when a new syncing plugin catches on. A shame that people are acting like animals about it, though.

If it's got a toggle you should be good. It's basically telling Penumbra 'don't load this file' which should be reflected correctly by Mare.

It used to be. Hell, people were overall a lot more discreet about mods in the past but then the popularity blew up with little to no consequences. SE doesn't want modded FFXIV to be "official"-facing though, so basically try and not provoke them into taking it more seriously. That's all, really.

By far one of my favourite games, but it's definitely a bit rough around the edges. If you like exploration with a sense of danger it's *really* good though. I'd mostly be hesitant if you really value story, as it's quite light on that.
