(That last one is just an example of course, but still). I'd love to see more animated TV shows with overarching plots given a chance again. Watching through Regular Show was a great experience, and I'm grateful that it was able to reach its end the way it did ❤️

Ahh, yeah that's true. But it definitely feels more volatile now then before imo (for having seasons renewed). And yeah, it hurts having a lot less episodes to work with per season on a story front especially. I can't imagine how tough it is trying to fit a good story build up in 8-10 episodes only

One of my favourite things with animated TV shows was story arcs that built up over multiple seasons that would get better as it ramped up to more high-stakes battles/scenarios the characters face. Sucks that most creators now can't rely on having multiple seasons to plan stories like that anymore

I was already planning to make the transition over here soon but now I wanna do it asap. Twitter's gonna be insufferable now
