I'm appalled by the US mainstream visual coverage of the war in Iran. The coverage specifically reinforces the Israeli claim of only targeting nuclear facilities, military sites, and political leaders. There are hardly any images of ordinary people affected by the war.

The worst part of doing an interview study is where I have to listen to my own voice over and over again.

1. What you see here is clearest illustration why things are so messed up and why it cannot get any better until this asymmetry is addressed.

Put simply: the right-wing has narrative dominance.

The only reason I’ve stayed this long on the other light-blue platform is to stay up to date about Iran, given its flawed media system and the critical role of citizens in sharing information. Will there be an alternative? We’ll see.
