It only took four of us making a two-minute public comment about the library at the city council meeting for the councilors to restore the funding the mayor’s office had cut.
I really can't emphasize enough that if you care about local politics, all you gotta do is show up. Just a regular schmegular person showing up. Literally just show up consistently in person and within a remarkably short amount of time, you will have a shocking amount of influence.

There was a certain type of Clever Boy (non gendered) who in the Biden Administration decided that it is simply wrong for any rights to be held above a popular vote and that if the volk feel very strongly about them then they should get to remove them on a state by state level, as a treat

This situation requires multiple interventions. Not only should Wilmer be released; but the agents who did this should be arrested. DHS must be ordered to retain all the evidence, including body cam, other video and messages.

“An ICE agent lured Wilmer out of his home under false pretenses, posing as a construction worker who claimed to have hit Wilmer’s car and needed him to step outside to verify. Another agent, accompanied by a dog, was hiding nearby and released the dog on Wilmer shortly after he stepped outside.”
My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

I feel like if the Court tries to nullify birthright citizenship then House Democrats should commit to impeaching all the Republican justices as soon as they get a majority. Even if the Senate won’t convict, make them make a spectacle out of it.
