We are only at the start of the journey. We've conceded too many easy tries, but scored some good ones. A bit more cohesiveness and the team buying into the plan and doing it instinctively and we will start to turn it around.

The conflicts of freedoms should always favour the freedom to go about your daily life unhindered by the hatred of others. It's long past time that we placed an onus on the press, broadcast, and social media to tell the truth. And this doesn't mean balance. It means veracity.

The corollary of this, of course, is the medium of broadcast, whether that is digital, print, legacy airwaves, or mass incursions into public spaces, needs to be regulated, even though this runs contrary to some interpretations of "free speech".

I'm more concerned about the rise of the Taines.
