I think he was mostly lamenting that he's not an incredible singer, but I think his voice suits some of his early songs extremely well and I couldn't imagine someone else singing them.

He seemed surprised when I told him some of the songs he sang on are among my favorites, and this one most of all. I really like the powerful chaotic energy vibe.
