Didn't do much today. Fixed the scale on most of the props, but did start experimenting with global illumination. VoxelGI is simple enough to set up and has decent performance, compared to SDFGI and helps to make the lights in dark scenes look so much better.

Finally able to get back into this, trying to create an actual scene now with actual props and realising how tricky scale is to get right from a gods-eye perspective in the editor. Not only do I need to rescale all these props but I need to reshape the whole room too

Getting the basic textures in to try and find the right vibe for the room. This is still all just CSG shapes but I'm actually pretty stoked with how its looking so far. Even did a little background blockout outside. Just need to start adding some props and smaller details.

I've had this layout in my head for a long time so it's cool actually seeing it exist for real. I think my goal should spend the remaining 8 days of my little self imposed challenge trying to make this set look as good as I can and see how I go
