I was watching a @branchus.bsky.social tutorial video on solder pad and trace repair. Super helpful! I should be able to repair my board soon.

Used the flush cutter technique & then removed plastic cap base with tweezers; soldering iron to clear legs, & solder braid to clean up the pads. For my 1st time out I wanted to avoid hot air to protect the plastics and the twisting to save the pads. C2 pad was gone. C8 wasn’t taking solder well.

Now that’s the handcrafted, artisanal, DIY-style jank that I’m down for!! 🤣😇

I’m glad to hear that no vintage gear was damaged due to collapsing tables!

Maybe they should get rid of that table. Just sayin’.
